From 19th June - 25th August Kunsthaus 7B is organizing the first edition of the biennial international exhibition row "Danube Contemporary". "We would like to present the Danube Area from Germany to the Delta as one cultural region with the richdom of diverse influences and respect that enables to live together and strength the region. In order to implement this idea sustainable and repeated we decided for the structure of a biennale". 

 

In this carefully curated exhibition are represented:

- Sorina von Keyserling, Berlin, Germany, sculptures

- Luise Kloos, Graz, Austria, drawings and paintings

- Alena Adamikova, Nova Dedinka, Slovakia, paintings

- Boglarka Nagy, Budapest, Hungary, painting

- Ljudmila Martinova, Donezk, Ukraine, drawings and paintings

- Veronika Desova, Varna, Bulgaria, photo

- Irina Epifan, Bucharest, photo

 

The fact that this years "Danube Contemporary" is showing works by female artists is due to the observation, that in Central Europe the society is changing. And wd think that the society is changing when the women are changing. Nowadays we are not more just shaping our personalities by forms that others and the world around us is providing us with. More and more we are shaping the forms with our personality.
